Howard Email Notifier shows a tiny window along an audio notification, letting you know that you have new emails. It doesn't matter what email service you use, this utility is compatible with Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Zoho, Mail.ru, and Virgilio.it.
Setting up this application is very simple: once installed, it is integrated to the taskbar, and by right-clicking on the icon you can access all its options. Howard Email Notifier shows a window with different tabs for all the email providers it supports, you just have to go to yours and mark the box to use it for new email, and then click on "change email account".
This notifier opens a tab on your browser in order to connect to your mail, and then it starts synching.
By default, Howard Email Notifier checks your email every 5 minutes, but you can change it to whatever frequency you need, and forget about opening the Gmail or Outlook window every few minutes or keeping it open all the time.
